{"id":312,"date":"2013-04-04T13:40:23","date_gmt":"2013-04-04T20:40:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tcsl.ca\/wp\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=312"},"modified":"2018-04-26T14:00:21","modified_gmt":"2018-04-26T21:00:21","slug":"north-vancouver-city-hall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tcpm.ca\/?p=312","title":{"rendered":"North Vancouver City Hall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TCPM was retained by the City of North Vancouver to provide project management services related to the partial renovation and connection of the existing North Vancouver City Hall and old library building.<\/p>\n<p>TCPM oversaw the construction of the City\u2019s new library building. The creation of this new facility has freed up the old library building space, which will converted to new office space for City Hall staff.<\/p>\n<p>The main components of the project include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joining the old library and City Hall buildings with a central public atrium.<\/li>\n<li>Creating new City Hall entrances on 14th Street and 13th Street.<\/li>\n<li>Passenger drop off and short term parking area south of City Hall.<\/li>\n<li>New department space, meeting space, and flex space in the old library.<\/li>\n<li>Partial renovation of City Hall\u2019s interior space to accommodate the connection.<\/li>\n<li>Seismic upgrade of both buildings.<\/li>\n<li>Addition of sprinklers to both facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Connection to the City-owned Lonsdale Energy Corporation\u2019s high efficiency heating system.<\/li>\n<li>Obtaining LEED Silver status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>City Hall serves the needs of six departments, City Council and the public.
