ABOUT THE PROJECT

Originally constructed in 1958 as The Berkeley Tower, the building was extensively renovated and reintroduced as MURO. The transformation retained the character and spacious suites of the mid-century tower while introducing seismic, life-safety, envelope, building system, and interior upgrades.

Enlarged corner windows open the homes to views of the city and sea, while a shared rooftop deck adds outdoor amenity space. Four 15-storey murals by Douglas Coupland wrap the concrete tower, giving MURO its distinctive identity in Vancouver’s West End.
