Burke Mountain Community Centre and Burke Village Park

The Burke Mountain Community Centre and Burke Village Park is a new $162 million civic recreation hub currently under development in Coquitlam, BC. The approximately 80,000 sq. ft. facility will include aquatics, fitness spaces, gymnasiums, multi-purpose rooms, and a new Coquitlam Public Library branch, alongside a large public park designed with playgrounds, splash features, gathering spaces, and accessible pathways integrated into the natural landscape.

The aquatic centre will feature Coquitlam’s first-ever “drop slide” attraction as part of the family-focused recreation amenities. The facility is planned to be one of the City of Coquitlam’s most energy-efficient recreation centres, with a strong focus on sustainable building systems and long-term operational performance.
