Lac La Biche County – New Aquatics Facility

TCPM is providing project management services for the new Lac La Biche County Aquatics Facility, a major recreation infrastructure project currently under development as an expansion to the Bold Centre in Lac La Biche, Alberta. The project includes a six-lane, 25-metre competition pool, leisure and teaching pools, a lazy river, waterslides, hot tubs, sauna and steam rooms, change facilities, and multi-purpose community spaces. The new facility is being integrated with the existing Bold Centre recreation complex, requiring careful coordination of site infrastructure, building systems, and ongoing operations throughout planning, design, and construction.

The approximately 30,000 sq. ft. facility will significantly expand the community’s aquatic and wellness amenities and is designed to support recreational, instructional, fitness, and competitive swimming programs. TCPM is working closely with Lac La Biche County and the design-build team of EllisDon and DIALOG to support project planning, design coordination, procurement, budget management, and delivery of this significant regional recreation investment.
