New Ice and Dry Floor Arenas Facility at LEC
The Langley Arena Complex is a 260,000-square-foot expansion of the Langley Events Centre that will add three ice arenas and two dry floor arenas to support the growing demand for recreation and sport in the Township of Langley. Designed in a unique stacked configuration, the facility includes a 1,000-seat main arena, two additional ice sheets, two upper-level dry floor arenas for lacrosse and ball hockey, and an underground parkade. Delivered through a design-build partnership led by Lark Group, the innovative multi-level facility maximizes land use efficiency while creating a premier destination for community recreation, tournaments, and regional sporting events.
Scheduled to open in 2026, the complex represents a significant investment in Langley’s long-term recreational infrastructure. The facility is one of the few arena complexes in Canada to utilize a stacked design, reducing the overall site footprint while preserving adjacent park and recreational lands.
