ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Arenas at LEC is Canada’s first-of-its-kind stacked five-arena complex, with two dry-floor arenas constructed above three ice surfaces to maximize the available site. Delivered through a fast-track design-build process, the 400,000+ SF facility went from project announcement to opening in less than three years. The completed facility includes a feature arena with 1,200 seats plus standing room, four additional arenas, underground parking, a full-service restaurant, training spaces, offices for community sport organizations, and supporting athlete and spectator facilities.
