Timms Community Centre Renewal Project
TCPM provided Owner’s Project Management services for the City of Langley’s Timms Community Centre Renewal Project, a new community recreation facility designed to serve as the civic heart of downtown Langley. Working with HCMA Architecture + Design and D.G.S. Construction, TCPM guided the project from planning and design through construction, helping deliver the facility on schedule and within budget. The project included integration with the existing City Hall and Fraser Valley Regional Library, creating a connected community hub that brings recreation, civic services, and gathering spaces together under one roof.
The approximately 35,000 sq. ft. facility features a full-size gymnasium, indoor walking and running track, fitness and weight rooms, games room, community kitchen, multi-purpose program spaces, and social gathering areas. The facility was delivered on schedule and within its $14.3 million budget, opening to the public in February 2016.
