Little’s Place Housing Project
Little’s Place Housing Project is a four-storey modular supportive housing development that provides 56 homes for women in Surrey, BC. Constructed adjacent to the existing Little’s Place facility on King George Boulevard, the 25,000-square-foot building expands access to safe, stable housing for women experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Delivered through a design-build model, the project includes private residential units, shared amenity spaces, common areas, and an elevator to support accessibility and resident wellbeing.
Operated by Atira Women’s Resource Society, the facility provides supportive housing within a community-focused environment that helps residents access stability, independence, and connections to essential support services. The project builds on Atira’s mission of supporting women and children affected by violence through safe housing and integrated care.
Little’s Place was named in honour of Santana “Little” Huntinghawk Scott, a woman whose experience with homelessness and substance use highlighted the need for safe, supportive housing for vulnerable women in Surrey. The project forms part of a broader network of women-focused housing and support services operated by Atira throughout the Lower Mainland.
